Claire Warnes is Head of Education, Skills and Productivity at KPMG in the UK. She has worked with many universities in the UK and internationally over the last 25 years. She leads KPMG’s work on professional regulation and standards, particularly within health and care and also works with the NHS Leadership Academy. She has worked on the revalidation of nurses and midwives and of doctors in the UK, and on the introduction of the regulation of nursing associates in England. Before joining KPMG in 2001, she previously worked at HEFCE, a university, and the European Commission.
