Outstanding Opportunity to Lead a World-Class Faculty

This is a great opportunity to further advance a world-class Faculty leveraging the regional, national and international profile of a progressive University, within a rapidly changing global environment.

One of three Faculties within the University, the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business brings together a community of thinkers and practitioners across five areas: the School of Art, Design and Architecture, the School of Humanities and Performing Arts, Plymouth Institute of Education, Plymouth Business School and the School of Law, Criminology and Government. It is ambitious for itself and its students, striving for excellence across its Education, Research and Knowledge Exchange activities.

The Executive Dean has a significant role in shaping the Faculty’s education, research and professional positioning. This is an exciting opportunity for an engaging leader to contribute to the future of an ambitious institution.

The Executive Dean will be able to demonstrate their intellectual capacity, how they build trust, engage and inspire academic and professional services staff through an authentic leadership style and how they are a catalyst for enabling delivery of the University’s strategic ambitions.
