With agency support, you will develop and deliver a policy and public affairs strategy, closely supporting the President & Vice-Chancellor and Director of Communication & External Affairs.

You will coordinate public policy development and engagement across UAL, our colleges and institutes. In doing so, you will work with experts throughout UAL who are already actively engaged with public policy, map stakeholder relationships and build partnerships with political stakeholders and decision-makers at local to international levels.

Your profile

You will have extensive experience of delivering excellent public engagement across a complex HE institution. You can quickly and confidently build relationships with experts, academics and senior leaders within an organisation, including the Chair, President & Vice-Chancellor.

You will have a deep and nuanced understanding of the public policy landscape and the creative sector and can offer valuable insights to senior stakeholders. You can develop mid to long term strategy for policy and public affairs, create enduring partnerships with external political stakeholders and decision-makers at local to international levels.
