The Evaluation and Policy Department provides data and policy analysis, and insight and evaluation to support the University’s decision-making to enable evidence-driven interventions and activities to deliver the University’s strategic priorities, particularly in relation to education and the student experience.

In this new role you will play a key part in strengthening and enhancing our capacity to ensure delivery of robust evaluations of a range of activities designed to enhance education and the student experience. The role will work with the Head of the Department to develop and implement the University’s Evaluation Strategy and associated Evaluation Framework, and will also deliver a range of institutional research and evaluation projects.

The successful candidate will have experience in developing and carrying out evaluations and institutional research projects, and a thorough knowledge of research and evaluation methodologies, particularly in the context of access and participation, and learning and teaching in higher education.  You will also have experience of developing and implementing strategies, working across teams, and influencing colleagues at all levels.
