Part Time Permanent – 27.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 13:30

We are looking to recruit a Customer Service Assistant to provide professional support in order to maximise the effectiveness of our buildings and provide support to staff, visitors and students at our campuses. The position will concentrate on supporting building users by managing face to face, telephone and email queries related to using the facilities within the building, events, meetings and other centrally delivered facilities services.

First-class customer service is an underpinning requirement for this position along with the ability to communicate effectively with our customers and maintain systems in an accurate and timely manner.

About you

Essential:

Reception/front of house experience at an operational level
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Ability to adapt to technological advances in the workplace
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for customer service
Be prepared to undertake additional training and instruction to effectively carry out the roles required within the post
Initiative and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent interpersonal skills to achieve the desired outcome efficiently

Qualifications

Essential:

Educated to GCSE level, or equivalent in relevant discipline
