We are seeking a Head of Data and Analytics to develop a centrally governed, flexible and robust enterprise-wide data and analytics capability that will evolve and innovate to rival any other in Higher Education. Using the Microsoft Azure Data Platform, the University is seeking to empower staff with the tools and skills to use data effectively and improve decision making at all levels to support attainment of academic and strategic goals. As Product Owner for the University’s Data Hub, you will:
- Collate and translate requirements from across the University into a pipeline of work, which senior stakeholders can prioritise.
- Provide data architecture and technical leadership to the Data and Analytics Team to facilitate delivery of that work and keep senior stakeholders appraised of progress.
- Be the subject matter expert at the University for Data and and Analytics – establishing close working relationships with senior stakeholders, for instance in Strategic Planning, Student Data, HR and Finance, will be essential.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and delivering impactful Data Strategy outcomes and delivering cloud-based data solutions and products for complex organisations.
Hybrid working is offered for this role. The nature of the role requires presence on campus at certain times of year, but at other times you will be able to complete some work remotely.
