About the Role:

If you have a passion for creating solutions for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in Higher Education that support change and progress and that have genuine positive impact, we want to hear from you. You will have proven experience in design and delivery of EDI-focused programmes, consultancy and resources with a particular focus on inclusive approaches within leadership and organisations and working with leaders at all levels, including senior leaders.

You will have EDI generalist experience and interest in working collaboratively to integrate EDI and intersectional considerations across our full portfolio of offerings in teaching and learning, leadership and management and governance. You will be working with colleagues across the Knowledge, Innovation and Delivery (KID) directorate and Advance HE to respond to organisational needs for bespoke in-house delivery as well as having the opportunity to join delivery teams to provide member benefits and national projects.

This role would particularly suit those who have, or are working, in a leadership role for EDI within organisations within or outside of HE, used to designing and implementing solutions for change that benefits progress in EDI.

The salary for this role is £56,890.00 per annum.

Full-time hours are 35 hours per week. Job share applications are welcome (note that the salary and benefits above are full-time equivalents and would be reduced pro-rata for job share employees).

This is a home-based role to be undertaken from within the UK.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • To contribute to knowledge, insights and delivery in the specified area of expertise of EDI, to include joining the delivery team for Diversifying Leadership.
  • To work with a significant degree of autonomy to deliver strategic consultancy projects, programmes and events, including international work where required and contribute to high profile/complex programmes and events.
  • To support Advance HE strategy by ensuring that new products and services meet members’ needs.
  • To manage and maintain active communities of practice for members within their areas of expertise.
