Taking action on belonging and inclusion
At this event in conjunction with Pearson we brought together our national research with insight from across the sector to build a practical plan of action to improve student belonging and inclusion for the long term.
Slowly the higher education sector is emerging from the Covid-19 pandemic, and working to understand the impacts on students, learning, and academic communities. All year Wonkhe and Pearson have been tracking diverse students as they grapple with the return to campus, supported by national survey data from students and HE professionals to identify what helps students belong, and what universities and students’ unions can do to better support student belonging.
At this event, we brought together our research so far, showcased the insights and interventions that we believe offer the best prospect for making change, and asked for your views on what actions should be taken to make the most meaningful impact for student belonging and inclusion.
