This full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – working from home and on campus.
This role works as part of a newly formed Education Policy Unit, based within the Policy, Quality and Standards Team, at the University of Exeter. The post holder will be responsible for a range of quality and standards policy activity, which may include: policy development, implementation and communication; support for the Education Board and/or Sub-Committee, provision of Teaching Quality Assurance (TQA) Manual policy advice and guidance; and scrutiny of policy exceptions/changes. The post holder will be responsible for briefing and working closely with the Dean for Taught Students, the Associate Dean for Taught Students and the Associate Dean for Taught Students (Racial Equality and Inclusion). The post holder will be expected to horizon-scan the national Higher Education regulatory environment for policy changes which may impact the University and undertake work to support this, for example, leading consultations, coordinating Working Parties and presenting to academic and professional services colleagues and student representatives.
