Information about the post

This role is based within the Representation and Democracy Department, which is fundamental to Kent Union, amplifying the voice of our members, increasing the influence and impact of Kent Union as a campaigning and representative organisation.

As Representation Coordinator, you will be key in delivering our programme of over 300 Student Reps to successfully represent their peers at the University and enhance their learning experience. In addition, this role will have responsibility for coaching, empowering and supporting our Academic Societies with the coordination of their activities which will include acting as a day-to-day contact for queries. Our vision for the role is to create a better join up between our Student Reps and Academic Societies to support in building a strong academic community.

The successful candidate will have good experience in working with volunteers, a track record in coordinating multiple projects and a demonstrable passion for supporting students to change the world. Annual Salary: £23,028

35 hours per week
