Research and Insights Manager

Expires

4th August 2023

We are looking for a Research and Insights Manager to lead the AGCAS research programme and analysis of sector developments.

Reporting to the Head of Policy and Advocacy, you will use quantitative and qualitative methods to carry out research on behalf of AGCAS and produce reports on key issues within the sector, working with colleagues to share findings through a range of platforms.

You will also analyse policy papers and sector reports to generate valuable insights for our members. The ability to assimilate and interpret large volumes of data and detailed policy/research reports is a key requirement of the post.

To be successful in the role you will have strong research and project management skills. You will be highly organised and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

You will be a self-starter who is able to drive projects forward, whether working on your own or as part of a group.

Knowledge of the higher education policy landscape and current trends in the fields of student career development and graduate employment would be desirable but is not essential.

The role will be home based within the UK. Due to the size of the AGCAS staff team, there is a need for all team members to be flexible and help others during periods of higher workload. The role may include, when allowed, occasional UK travel and overnight stays.
