Registry Services is an innovative, efficient, integrated professional service that offers academic and student administration support and direction right across the lifecycle of a student.
Based on the Llandaff campus, we cover the areas of Assessments and Awards, Student Appeals, Examination Boards, Enrolment, Statutory Returns and the Student System. We work very closely across the other registry services and across all Academic Schools and support the development of the Universities values and behaviours within our teams.

What you’ll do – key duties
Manage and maintain the data quality activities relating to the core student record, working across Registry to ensure that centrally held academic data is fit for purpose.
Quality Control the decision of the examination boards for final year students and confirm awards to the corporate student system.
Produce and issue award certificates to students. This will include liaison with Registry Services staff, Academic and Professional Services staff. Be responsible for the quality control of the content on the certificates and transcripts together with electronic documents such as Electronic Certificates and HEARs, and distribute in line with the University’s Regulations
Deal with queries and requests for verification of students’ qualifications, replacement transcripts and certificates, from both students and external agencies.
Maintain the corporate Web Pages to reflect accurate data and relevant updates for stakeholders.
Provide administrative support to the senior management team on boards and projects that take place within Registry Services. To co-ordinate project activity as required by project boards.
Maintain accurate curriculum and student status on the university’s student record system as required, such as withdrawals, transfers and suspension of students.
Support the enrolment process, specificity the re-enrolment of students.
Support the Examination Boards, in particular the confirmation of awards of the student and being able to clerk a board.
Maintain the core data held in the timetabling system, ensuring that data is current and accurate.
