The opportunity
Based primarily within the School of Education and Social Policy, the postholder will manage all aspects of the ‘National’ Professional Services operation and further develop the National MA Education (Wales), working closely with and providing expert support to the Academic and Quality Assurance Leads, Accreditation Team and National Boards and Working Groups.
The postholder will be responsible for; providing oversight, and operational management of a wide range of ‘national’ duties including admissions and marketing approaches, support for national teaching activities and timetabling, secretarial support for relevant National Committees and Boards, collating and managing documentation related to the ongoing development project and liaising across all partner institutions and the Welsh Government, to ensure effective co-ordination, ensuring the phase 1 project is delivered to students successfully, and phase 2 project development is effectively managed through to delivery.
What we are looking for
Undergraduate degree or relevant professional experience.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and the use of information technology.
The ability to build and maintain positive relationships and networks with a wide range of key stakeholders to underpin partnership working.
Proven ability to provide effective project and logistical support to teams, managing large volumes of information effectively and accurately.
Proven ability to use initiative and creativity to solve complex problems in a multi-partner environment, often balancing and negotiating between conflicting requirements.
Experience of working within an education delivery setting.
