Summary:
This is an exciting time to join us as we embark on a number of changes in order to enhance how we deliver Admissions activity. We are seeking an experienced, customer focused and highly collaborative leader to develop and deliver service excellence in all university wide admissions activities.
As Head of Admissions, you will have responsibility for leading university wide admissions strategy, policy and process whilst consistently delivering effective, efficient and applicant centric admissions services in order to achieve overarching University student recruitment objectives.
Forming a key part of the Student Recruitment, Marketing and Admissions senior leadership team, you will provide expert strategic intelligence using trend analysis to identify risks and inform opportunities in relation to overarching service level delivery and regulatory compliance.
You will operate as the primary university contact for all admissions activity with a focus on leading your respective Heads of service (Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Applicant Services) to implement and continually improve business-enabling procedures, policies and systems. You will lead user-focused services that provide a supportive, fair and transparent experience for our applicants, and take a strategic lead for the organisation of major activities such as the University’s annual Confirmation and Clearing campaign.
Capable of managing change in a positive and proactive way, you will be a dynamic leader able to negotiate the balance between the operational and strategic. You will be committed to cross-team, collaborative working closely with academic and professional services colleagues to ensure the Admissions Service operates effectively to support delivery of the strategic student population aims of the institution.
