What we are looking for

The University is looking for an individual that has experience of delivering Welsh language skills programmes, knowledge of delivering e-learning and good Welsh language skills that will play a full role in the growth of Welsh medium provision and services to staff and students across the University.

Why join Cardiff Metropolitan University?

In 2020, the University was named The Sunday Times ‘Welsh University of the Year 2021’; in 2021 it became the Times Higher Education ‘UK and Ireland University of the Year 2022’; and in 2022 it was ranked the top university in the UK in the People and Planet Green League.

The University has included the growth of Welsh medium provision and services as one of its key measures of success in its new strategic plan. This post holder will be key in ensuring Welsh language support across the University for students and staff to enhance and develop their Welsh language skills. This will contribute significantly to one of the main strategic drivers for the Welsh language, which is the normalisation of the use of the language across all parts of the University.
