About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Brookes Union in the role of Research & Insight Coordinator.
If you are passionate about:
* Research and gathering insight
* Social action and advocating for change
Then we’d love to hear from you!
This role will sit within our Communications Engagement Team, who oversee the Union’s campaigning activities, democracy, liberation networks and manage our communications and marketing channels (eg social media and the website).
The successful candidate will be someone with a passion for social action, who is excited about being a part of an organisation making positive change for our members (the students of Oxford Brookes).
This role will support all areas of the organisation. For example, you may be supporting our Communities Team to monitor their KPIs and respond to student feedback on how to improve access to student groups. Or you may be supporting our Advice and Advocacy Team to monitor trends in the issues students are reporting to them, and work on policy solutions to fix these problems.
This role will involve working alongside both our student volunteers and University staff members, so the ideal candidate will be someone who can easily make connections with a diverse range of people.
Applying for the role
If you feel that your experience doesn’t align exactly with the job description and person specification, but you’re excited by the role, then we would encourage you to apply anyway. Enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in and learn are much more important to us than ensuring you tick every box on paper.
To apply: Please submit your CV and a supporting statement (of no more than 2 sides of A4) that outlines how you meet the criteria in the person specification, and why you are interested in this role.
