Dan is a partner at MH&A, where he leads three strategy, advisory and delivery practices: higher education, economic development, and complex deals. During his time in the UK civil service, he specialised in education, employment and skills policy, including student finance and HE fees and funding.
His subsequent work in big ticket BPO, Big Four consulting and data/AI firms has been about creating public value at the interface between public and private sectors, including creating a joint public-private HE research institute. Dan has served as non-executive director on the board of a widening participation CIC, believes in the transformative power of higher education for the life and life chances of individuals, and in the sector’s critical role in shaping our society’s future.
