Anna Bull is a Senior Lecturer in Education and Social Justice at the University of York and a founding member of The 1752 Group, a research and campaigning organisation addressing staff sexual misconduct in higher education. Her research focuses on gender and class inequalities in music education and sexual harassment in higher education. In 2022 she was lead author on the report Slow Train Coming: Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in UK Music Higher Education for the EDI in Music Studies network. She has published policy and research contributions on a variety of academic and non-academic platforms, and is a regular media contributor to public debates.
