Kathy Armour is UCL Vice Provost (Education & Student Experience). She leads on all aspects of undergraduate and postgraduate taught education at UCL. She joined
UCL in January 2022.
Prior to joining UCL, Kathy was Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education) at the University of Birmingham from 2016, and Head of the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation
Sciences from 2012. She has also held posts at Loughborough and Brunel Universities.
Kathy has extensive experience of leadership and research in education and professional learning. Her research and teaching have focused on bridging the gaps between theory/research and educational practice. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences (UK) and International Fellow of the National Association of Kinesiology (USA).
