Laura Clancy is a Lecturer in Media at Lancaster University. She is the author of What is the Monarchy For? (Bristol University Press, 2025) and Running the Family Firm: how the monarchy manages its image and our money (Manchester University Press, 2021). She is the Co-Director of Cultures of Digital Hate.
