Paul Temple is Reader Emeritus in Higher Education at the UCL Institute of Education where he until recently co-directed its Centre for Higher Education Studies and its MBA programme in higher education management. He was previously head of the University of London’s planning division, and has written on university strategy, management, and on higher education issues in Central and Eastern Europe.
