Sazana Jayadeva is a Research Fellow on the Eurostudents project, a comparative study of how the contemporary higher education student is conceptualised in six European countries. She is based in the Department of Sociology at the University of Surrey. Her research revolves around the interrelated themes of education and inequalities, class and language, as well as student mobilities and social media, with regional focus on India and Europe.
