I am delighted to welcome Minto Felix to Wonkhe as our brand new associate editor.
Minto joins us from Monash University, Australia where he spent time working across a range of policy projects in support of the president and vice chancellor, and chief operating officer and senior vice-president of the university.
Minto coordinated the university’s response to the Respect, Now, Always initiative to prevent and address sexual assault and harassment, and the Monash Commission’s independent inquiry into the future of post-compulsory education in Australia.
As associate editor Minto will work across the full range of Wonkhe’s information, analysis and insight. He brings a fascination with the challenges and opportunities facing UK higher education developed when he travelled to the UK in 2018 to learn from institutional approaches to student mental health. So much so that he has relocated from the other side of the world to join Team Wonkhe.
Minto says, ‘I am looking forward to building close relationships with the incredibly diverse cast of institutions, agencies and thought leaders in the sector, and shining a light on the stories and the people who are the driving force behind the UK higher education policy debate.”
